Relax Unwind and De-stress #SlowDownZindagi

You all must agree that life somehow has become more hectic. The reason may be you have to catch the 8.03 local to get office in time, or may be getting that Auto in Andheri. In office/home some work always remain pending this results in stress. In the modern age with Nucleus family, to manage the home, ofice and relationship has become a big challenge and source of stress. To complete the task/target with deadline one passes through deep stress.

In long term the effects of stress shows like Headaches, Heart disease, Gastrointestinal problems, Accelerated aging, Depression and anxiety, less sleep or may be Premature death.

So how to reduce stress ? For different person it varies. For reclaiming my Zindagi I do these :

1. Listen To Music- While travelling in locals I always prefer to listen some music than instant messaging. It certainly do not make the train less congested, but it gives me a sense of happiness and jubilant mood, small push, pull (Dhakka) seems very trivial. The music certainly destress me and make the journey happier.

2. Watching a Movie - After the hectic day at office, the best way to relax is after taking a bath either head to the multiplex to watch a movie, if not then watch on TV or stream. I just make a list of movies and watch them. The movie certainly takes me to another place/time/emotional level. BTW Shawshank Redemption is my favourite and I have watched in more than 20 times.

3. Working at home- Sometimes I just clean the cupboard, bookshelf, or balcony. The Before and After seen makes me happy and it gives me satisfaction. Its a way to destress. When I an angry i certainly do this.

4. Heading to weekend gateway- Sometimes, both body and mind are unable to take any more stress/burden. If that situation arises I head to nearest weekend gateways like Matheran, Lonavola, Khandala (may be water parks and amusements parks, National park also) The journey recharges me and  the experience makes us lively, happy and jovial.

5. Planning a get-together - A friend in need is friend Indeed. So sometimes everything might not be working as per plan and I go through tension and stress. To de-stress myself I plan for a get together with friends. It may be Juhu beach or any one's house. may be a movie or a restaurant. after that I eel so relaxed and relieved. it de-stress me.

So these are some of my secrets for de-stressing, and reclaim my zindagi.

But since these de-stressing activities in not possible in day-to-day basis ‘I am going to try a new quick way to De-stress & #SlowDownZindagi using Parachute Advansed Aromatherapy Oil in association with BlogAdda‘

I would love to hear your comments and your comment may win a voucher from our sponsor.

The time has come to Share The Load with Ariel’s #WashBucketChallenge

So Before going to write my blog I want to ask you a question ?

Is the household chores should be done by Men or Women ?

Exactly the same question was asked by Ariel and the answer is 3/4 of surveyed male opined that Household chores are womens job, The man's task is to earn.
 Ariel's question is ‪#‎IsLaundryOnlyAWomansJob‬
So in the 21st century when women are doing joining and succeeding in workforces is it right ? Women are staying out of home like most men do. If not working they are managing home better than any MBA can do.

So being a man, the time has come to Share The Load with Ariel’s #WashBucketChallenge
This task asks men to Share the Load of their partner/family members. Ariel being the leading detergent brand asks man to take the #WashBucketChallenge and helps in cleaning clothes of the family. With Ariel's one-wash stain removal washing clothes is easy and fun.
The same thing was opined by some of our celebrities Like Gurmeet Chaudhry pledged to take the load from his wife Debina

. takes the and pledges to .

Similarly Kunal Khemu also took the #WashBucketChallenge for Soha Ali Khan Pataudi.

So If all these amazing man thinks and came forward to #ShareTheLoad ! Its high time for you to take the  #WashBucketChallenge.

By the way I took the  #WashBucketChallenge challenge and pledged to #ShareTheLoad So just for the proof
I ALSO invite my friends, Bikash, Sohail, Deb, Debadutta and Ashish to take this challenge and share the load.

Twitter Contest in India – The Real Picture

Twitter Contest in India – The Real Picture

Now in order to trend a lot of brands are conducting contest in Twitter to promote their hashtag. But what I have observed some people (may be from the digital agency itself ) won the prizes. They tweet about hundred and more tweets in 3-4 hour.  There are a handful of contestants winning in various tweet contest may be a testimony to that.
I would love to share their details, But privacy is a big reason for non-disclosure.
If you see a winners name starting with @cmd....... or @swat....... @imbe.... then chances are that you can guess it right.

Does Brand benefits ? Does the hashtag really helps  ?
The answer is No. If  5 people send 800 tweets mentioning your #tag and another 300 people with 400 #tags.
Your total comes to around 1200 hashtags but those 800 have a very low impact coz it will not reach others through the social media effect.

Now brands have to decide whether they want to give the prize to those 5 or among those 33 who are genuine.

But I have seen some contest where quality tweets are considered not the 5 odd people who only participate to win for the prizes.

The Lady, Car, The theft And His husband at police station.

After a meeting I was coming out of a hotel and I was looking for my car keys. They were not in my pockets. A quick search in the meeting room, it wasn't there too..

Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car.
My husband has shouted many times for leaving the keys in the ignition.

My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them.
His theory is the car will be stolen.

Immediately I rushed to the parking lot, I came to a terrifying conclusion.
His theory was right. The parking lot was empty.

I immediately called the police.
I gave them my location, Description of the car, Place I parked etc, I equally confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that it had been stolen.

Then I made the most difficult call of all to my husband, "Honey", I stammered; (I always call him "honey" in times like these. "I left my keys in the car, and it has been stolen."

There was a period of silence. I thought the call had been dropped, but then I heard his voice.
"Idiot", he shouted, "I dropped you at the hotel !"

Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, I said, "Well, then pls come and get me."

He shouted again, "I will, as soon as I convince this policeman I have not stolen your car."
